Gasworks - Mercer Island Loop
Club members ride from Gasworks Park in Seattle to Mercer Island
for the opening day of the Mercer Island Farmers Market.

This is a fun traditional bicycle route for area cyclists,
just the right distance for the early summer cycle training.

The MI Farmers Market is now in its second year
and takes up almost two blocks in downtown Mercer Island.
|
While many of the vendors are selling vegtables,
many more are selling flowers and specialty foods.
|
We stopped at the market near the end of our ride allowing
everyone to relax and socialize before we finished.
|
This left us with just nine final miles to finish up before
returning to Gasworks Park to end our day of cycling.
