Bainbridge Island

Seattle is surrounded by water and there is no better fun than a ferry ride
to Bainbridge for a little cycling on one of our area's favorite islands.

Like other Puget Sound islands, Bainbridge has sparsely traveled roads
and many scenic coves and wilderness areas to check out.

No trip to Bainbridge is complete without a stop at Frog Rock and
a visit to Fay Bainbridge State Park for sticking your toes in the sound.

While the forest canopy around the island keeps the roads nice
and cool, a warm summer day still calls for an ice cream stop.

Back on the ferry riders can make out Seattle in the distance.
A fun day of cycling is now at an end.
