Auburn - South Prairie

With a beautiful day to go biking members try out a new route
from Auburn to South Prairie on the Interurban and Foothills Trails.

Most routes in the Northwest mean hills to climb,
but not this one which was flat as a pancake.

Total route distance was 60 miles through scenic country
past streams and wooded areas and area farms all the way.

Thus, members make multiple stops as they go taking in the views
and visiting the local animals.

The Foothills Trail at the far end lines up with Mt. Rainier,
a very special Northwest icon and spectacular site on a nice day.

Like all great rides sooner or later they have to come to an end
as does this one by the Emerald Downs Race Track where it started.
